I just made a run to the grocery store….. I saw someone do something that I didn’t like…. then I realized that sometimes I’m guilty of doing the same thing.

Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.”
We judge these external behaviors, like drinking, and fail to see that God’s redemptive work is for that person! When we shun them or shy away we miss the whole point. God made a way for everyone to be saved. Thank you for sharing this!

Yeah, I used to look at people like Mother Teresa, at the people she took care of. Many of them brought on their own circumstances. I would think, “Why help them? They don’t deserve to be helped. They are in that situation by their own choices and, after they get back on their feet, they’ll go right back to that lifestyle.” As I draw nearer to God, I’m starting to get it.

It’s so easy to want to hold back grace from others until we find ourselves in need of radical grace too. May the Holy Spirit always remind us of the relentless love of God.

So many times we are focused are on our lives that we neglect to share God’s love with others. I pray that today and everyday, I will shine His love in all my words and actions. 🙂
