Maintaining gratitude

Thankfulness is easily expressed when one is flooded with reminders to express gratitude, together with loved ones, on a specific day.

However, let us not forget to continue to express gratitude on a daily basis.

In spite of all that you don’t have, there are multitudes of things that you do have. Things that you can express gratitude for.

Before the day is over, take the time to reflect on and express gratitude for at least 3 things that you are grateful for….. Heck, why dont you take the time to do that right now.

….in everything give thanks…. 1 Thess 5:18 (NKJV)

  1. At one point in my prayer life I was actually hearing myself asking the Lord for what He had already given me, was giving me, or had promised to give me (ex: “Please be with me…”). So why was I asking instead of just thanking Him? Since then I’ve been praying a lot more prayers of thanks.
