Thankfulness is easily expressed when one is flooded with reminders to express gratitude, together with loved ones, on a specific day.
•
However, let us not forget to continue to express gratitude on a daily basis.
•
In spite of all that you don’t have, there are multitudes of things that you do have. Things that you can express gratitude for.
•
Before the day is over, take the time to reflect on and express gratitude for at least 3 things that you are grateful for….. Heck, why dont you take the time to do that right now.
•
….in everything give thanks…. 1 Thess 5:18 (NKJV)

At one point in my prayer life I was actually hearing myself asking the Lord for what He had already given me, was giving me, or had promised to give me (ex: “Please be with me…”). So why was I asking instead of just thanking Him? Since then I’ve been praying a lot more prayers of thanks.
