Free to be

In this life, you will inevitably encounter people who will not be pleased with you as you are.

In an attempt to manipulate you they make speak evil of you, taunt you, not include you, and in some instances, attempt to cause you harm.

As painful as this might be, and as tempting as it might be to conform to their will, it is important to remember that those people are not God.

God didn’t make a mistake when he created you.

He perfectly designed your DNA to include everything that was needed to shine His glory in this earth.

The moment that you allow others to dim your light is the moment that you start to dim His.

So, when others ridicule you, remember that in actuality they are ridiculing your creator…… and that’s not something that should ever be taken lightly.

Remember that the darkness they exert is coming from their heart, not your, and you are under no obligation to allow their darkness to consume you.

Go out and be who God created you to be today.

Say it with me, “I am free to be me.”
