Step forward

I remember not knowing what to do.

My life was out of control and had become a nuclear war-zone.

My negligence finally caught up to me and my presence seemed to suck the life out of everyone who came near me.
I remember not knowing what to do or where to go. The only thing that I was certain of, is that if I stayed where I was at, I would not last long. So I made a choice….. and although I was trembling with fear, I picked up the phone and made a call. Before that person had a chance to react I vomited a very explicit confession of my circumstance. Much to my surprise, instead of rejection, I received grace. Their kindness took me by the hand and taught me how to crawl again. Before I knew it I was walking hand in hand with my heavenly Father once again.
My choice to step forward led me home….
