There is a difference between a miracle and a work.

Miracles are instantaneous. A “work”, on the other hand, is a process.
–
While all of us love miracles, most of the time God chooses to do a “work” in us.
–
While it may require time and patience, you can be assured that He always completes what He starts.
–
Go live your life today with the assurance that God is for you and still working in you.
–

  1. My understanding has been that a miracle overrides the laws of nature and is extremely rare. Many of the things we might call “miracles” are things occurring naturally that “happen to” occur at just the right time, in answer to prayer. (Like the strong east wind that “happened to” blow all night before the Israelites crossed the Red Sea and “happened to” stop just in time to drown the Egyptians.) If it’s a very “coincidentally” occurring act of nature, I would call it Providential. (And I have personally seen a LOT of those…) But yes, the work God does in us takes a lifetime. (He had spent 80 years preparing Moses for the “instant” deliverance of His people.)

  6. My life has seen both . . . all the workings of the Lord all are miracles! Some are instant, some are a work in progress, while others may not come to fruition in our lifespan. ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~

    1. Yes. I’ve seen God do some amazing works in me and around me. Two that stick out in my mind are. 1. Witnessing a boy that from my church, who was born deaf, hear for thr first time. 2. My grandfather being completely healed of cancer when he refused and treatment and had been given 6 months to live…. I’m also glad for His work in me. Cause it has been a process. God definitely has been kind and patient with me.
