You are under no obligation to live your life imprisoned by someone else’s unrealistic expectation of you.
Not your Mama’s
Not your Daddy’s
Not your sibling’s
Not your adult kid’s
Not your Auntie’s
Not your Uncle’s
Not your crazy cousin’s
Not your opinionated friend’s
Not your preacher’s
Not your teacher’s
Not the random random FB commentator’s
Not your co-worker’s
No one’s…..

*Btw. I’m not suggesting that you be a jerk. I’m only encouraging you to be the person that God created you to be.

  2. Great List, friend. At the end of the day, my BTW is the picture God gives me the greatest picture of why I don’t want to be a “jerk” in any sense of the word:
    Matthew 13:30 – Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
    Appreciate your insight into all that you share and encourage others. You inspire me to the point that I’m looking into going back to school to study the effects of trauma. 🙂
